JOHNNY DEPP AND MERYL STREEP STARRING IN INTO THE WOODS?
The broadway musical, Into the Woods, is going to be adapted to the big screen. This film is going to be directed by Rob Marshal (Pirates of the Caribbean) and it is quite possible that it could be starring big stars Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep. Meryl would be bringing to life the role of an evil witch, and Johnny’s character is not yet decided.
Into the Woods is q musical in which many classic folkloric fairytales stories intertwine, very much like in Once Upon A Time (ABC’s TV series). This series has been quite a hit for Disney lovers everywhere and given a lot of buzz for ABC, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White in the series) was even the invited guest of honour for the inauguration of the Fantasyland Expansion last december. Does this mean this film is going to be a hit as well?
Characters we can expect to see in the film are Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella, Jack (Jack and the Beanstalk), Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora and Hansel and Gretel.
